About me
Hello! I am a Cambodian-Chinese filmmaker from Palm Desert, California. I graduated from Harvard University in 2023 with a degree in film and video production.
To me, film is a deeply personal medium that I have used to both connect to the people around me and to learn more about the thoughts and feelings that linger in my mind and on my heart. Specific feelings that interest me at the moment are love, grief, and reliance, and I hope to explore these themes through the lenses of my identity as a second-generation Asian-American and the children of survivors of the Khmer Rouge.
In my free time, I enjoy gaming (I peaked top 150 in North America in Teamfight Tactics), thrift shopping, staying active, and working as a script supervisor on film sets.
At the moment, I am developing a feature film about a family of Khmer Rouge survivors working to keep their humble donut shop afloat after the death of their father.
